UnCruise Launches First Ever Winter Sports Cruise and 2024-25 Deployment Announced

More in the Gulf of Alaska, Multi-Sport, and Latin American Extended Adventures Added to the Lineup

JUNEAU, AK, October 10, 2022 – The small ship cruise line, UnCruise Adventures today revealed Alaska’s first ever small ship winter sports cruise. The company does it again by being the first to market with another highly sought-after small ship adventure launching February through March 2024. The new 7-night Winter Sports & Northern Lights Adventures will specialize in multi-activity winter sports options for guests paired with the breathtaking winter months of Southeast Alaska, including Glacier Bay National Park, roundtrip from Juneau, Alaska.

The company also announced the next phase of its 2024 and select 2025 deployment including newly expanded offerings for Alaska, Prince William Sound, and Latin America. Updated pricing and access provide a more well-rounded variety of adventures and well-structured all-inclusive pricing to plan ahead.

Newly Launched Itineraries

Alaska Winter Sports & Northern Lights – Safari Endeavour

This customized adventure cruise brings you winter sports galore: downhill skiing, heli-skiing, cross-country skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, ice skating, and après ski in the quaint town of Juneau. This one has it all, and pairs winter sports at Eagle Crest ski area with remote exploring of Glacier Bay National Park, Margerie, Johns Hopkins, Dawes, and Sawyer glaciers and the possibility of Northern Lights during long winter evenings. The 7-night, 8-day cruise opens for availability, on Oct 10th, 2022. Begins sailing in Feb 2024.

Alaska’s Prince William Sound Explorer – Safari Explorer

This is the only UnCruise itinerary to visit the region. Kayak, hike, and skiff past centuries-old glaciers. Puffins, eagles, otter, and sea lions wait around every cove.  We transport you from Whittier to the vessel with plenty of sightseeing along the way. Highlights include dozens of glaciers including Chenega, Columbia, Meares, and Sheridan. Discovering remote islands such as Knight and Montague. Visiting Cordova, College and Harriman glacial fjords and beach combing coastal Alaska. The 7-night, 8-day cruise open for availability, on Oct 10th, 2022. Begins sailing in May 2024.

Latin American’s Sojourn; Costa Rica, Panama & Cartagena – Safari Voyager

This new adventure takes guests through three countries and includes visiting UNESCO World Heritage Sites like, Coiba National Park, the colonial city of Cartagena, indigenous cultural visits, along with activities at Isla Taboga and more. It’s filled with rainforests, islands, and a transit through the Panama Canal—plus plenty of history, culture, and connection. The 10-night, 11-day cruise opens for availability, on Oct 10th, 2022. Begins sailing in May 2024.

Belize Eclipse, Reefs & Rivers – Safari Voyager

Sail to this beautiful Central American destination for an un-Belize-able annular eclipse surrounded by stunning natural beauty. This extended one-time sailing provides a chance to experience this astronomical journey positioned perfectly in the ocean for eclipse viewing. Also included are the UNESCO World Heritage Site: Belize Barrier Reef—the second largest coral reef in the world, hiking at Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary, exploring Las Escobas Tropical Rainforest Park, visiting Indigenous Mayan and Garifuna cultures: ruins, food, music, and dancing along with Punta Gorda, Livingston and Rio Dulce. The 8-night, 9-day cruise is now open for availability for the Oct 13, 2023, departure.
