Set Sail into 2018 with Savings on an Alaskan Adventure

222-P31X0124 (1)

Traveling is often a top New Year’s resolution and UnCruise Adventures, a small ship adventure cruise line, is offering aspiring travelers the opportunity to explore Alaska in 2018 at a lower rate. Starting January 2, 2018, guests will save $225 per person, or $450 per couple, on any seven-night departure in Alaska aboard the S.S. Legacy and the Safari Endeavour. The offer also includes a $100 shipboard credit per couple.

With no more than 86 guests, the two ships take guests into remote areas of Southeast Alaska for off-the-beaten path trips. This Wave Season deal features three Alaska itineraries, which are flexible so the ship’s knowledgeable expedition guides can maximize adventure, exploration and learning – and no two trips are the same. The itineraries include:

  • Alaska’s Glaciers & Whales: Hike on the moraine of Baird Glacier, explore Tracy Arm fjord with twin Sawyer glaciers, skiff the iceberg gardens at LeConte Glacier and hike the Tongass National Forest. Visit the Tlingit village of Kake and whale watch in Frederick Sound—prime humpback feeding grounds. Departures available May-August.

  • Whales, Wildlife & Glaciers: Visit Glacier Bay National Park for a full day, float the river or bike in Haines and spot wildlife such as whales, Dalls porpoise, sea lions and black bears. Departures May-August.

  • Glacier Bay Small Ship Cruises: Take two full days in Glacier Bay National Park, visit the Margerie and Grand Pacific Glaciers and explore Dawes Glacier in Endicott Arm by skiff. Departures in April, July and September.

Every UnCruise ship carries its own adventure equipment, allowing guests to personalize their activities through an array of options—kayaking, hiking, beachcombing, paddle boarding, snorkeling, skiff excursions and wildlife searches. In 2018, the 86-guest S.S. Legacy, a replica coastal gold rush steamer, will offer adventure activities with the addition of kayaks, paddle boards and skiffs on board. A custom built boat launch will be added to the S.S. Legacy for launching small craft. The Safari Endeavour carries 84 guests and features two hot tubs and massage rooms, in addition to a full suite of adventure equipment.

The Wave Season savings are available for new bookings made January 2, 2018 through February 28, 2018. Travelers must use offer code “AK450+50” when booking. Cruises start at $3,995 (before savings) and are inclusive featuring freshly-made, innovative meals; all beverages, including alcohol; adventure activities; transfers day of cruise and wellness amenities such as complimentary massage. Port taxes and fees are additional. The offer is combinable with UnCruise’s Loyalty, Referral and Family Discoveries savings programs.
